Made Festival Brings Big Lineup of Makers and Creative Artisans

Former Vintage Bliss Market Rebrands as a Modern Marketplace

St. Louis — July 19, 2019 — Made Festival, an event showcasing and celebrating St. Louis area creatives in a lively modern marketplace, is slated for Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Westport Plaza.

Formerly named Vintage Bliss Market, the annual two-day shopping event at Westport Plaza has been bringing shoppers and vendors from across the St. Louis region together since 2013.

In keeping with its new name and concept, Made Festival will feature more than 80 vendors — ranging from retro artisans to modern retailers — and a live music lineup of popular local and national artists, including: Odds Lane, Striking Matches, Alexandra Kay, Three Pedros, and John Gurney Band.

“We saw an exciting opportunity to expand the Vintage Bliss Market beyond the vintage niche to showcase more local artisans, entrepreneurs, and small businesses,” says Sarah Herr, Made Festival Coordinator.

Organizers expect the Made Festival to attract more than 12,000 people to Westport Plaza over the weekend, surpassing last year’s Vintage Bliss Market attendance.

“The goal of Made Festival is to directly connect shoppers with emerging brands and artists, to encourage discovery and real-life engagement, and empower consumers to support the people behind these creative companies,” says Herr.

Made Festival will take place Friday, September 6 and Saturday September 7 at the village at Westport Plaza. located off Page and I-270. The event will run from 5 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.

This is a free event open to the public. For more information visit www.westportstl.com or @westportstl on social media.
